We waited four days ....... and ........ nothing, but some people are waiting longer than 20 years (the last eruption took place in 1984).
As is well known to all geographers, and the rest to announce now, Chile lies in a seismic zone, strongly accentuated. There are, of all its varieties: volcanoes, earthquakes and the ground behind the tsunami and floods. Generally there are not bored residents who diligently listens news broadcasts. Returning to
Pukonu, this is a little town, where about 90% of the population are tourists, but not without a reason ... everyone can find something for everyone here ... from water sports, the type of rafting, sailing, downhill through a rubber tube riding, paragliding, 4x4 trips through to trekking. After all of the impressions you can relax in thermal springs or in the many bars and cafes. (Maybe it sounded like a tourism ad, but actually have more of everything:)). Since our budget did not provide all of these attractions, we chose one of them (the masses ekonomico, as they say here) - Trekking around the volcano. We were thinking more of the rafting, which is considered one of the best in the world, but the weather was spilled in August. Volcano Villarica
is one of the most active in Chile, and trekking around him to be counted as an interesting geographical experience, because we could watch the solidified lava tongues and very peculiarities of nature. Over the three days we were alone with a big steaming, which could explode at any moment, awe-inspiring and fear at the same time volcano Villarica:)
