Blue Film Of Karnataka

azulejos

Portugal reminds me of many things and experiences, each time you stay there, I have new things and new experiences and emotions, but it reminds me of Portugal inextricably associated with and will azulejos , that is tiled is probably 90% of homes in Portugal.
I am enchanted by this method ornaments of houses and I regret that it would be too big financial undertaking to bring this plate to the Polish and put them round the house.

are areas in Portugal, where azulejos are particularly beautiful. Apparently, most are in the south of Obidos.
Azulejos is not only a pattern on the plates (well, sometimes psychedelic pattern, which is simply hypnotic colors and forms), but also the whole images all sorts of scenes - from fighting to romantic scenes of life or those of saints or angels.
one of the largest battle scenes laid to azulejos can enjoy completely free at the station Sao Bento Porto. Blue - white paintings are the size of the whole massive edifice of walls station and make a really big impression. I recommend.

But I like the most ordinary azulejos, which the Portuguese people decorate their homes. I love to roam in small streets of small towns in search of interesting patterns and color combinations, and those that appeal to me most of course photograph. You might be hard to believe, but after that hour walk up to a headache on the number of shapes, patterns and colors. Kind of like the perfumes that smell of perfume - the fifth flavor are all alike, but that's when I turned into another street, and before me is quite a new parade of colors and patterns to enjoy - just like in a kaleidoscope.

Unfortunately, young Portuguese people are not so attached to that part of the tradition of his country, and many of them decorates new homes azulejos top down. It happens that on the wall there is a small scene or a figure of the saint, but this is rare.
a shame, because this is a thing absolutely unique, and unique. There are many old houses, whose owners can not afford to renovate the facade and azulejos fall into disrepair, which of course has its own charm and gives the character of places, but the damage to see how these small works so dilapidated. Despite appearances, it is not so easy to care for azulejos because each lined their sight is under a preservation of monuments and a whole lot you need to have special permission to do anything with your own home.

dream of a house lined with azulejos. As for the design and colors are very traditional and I would choose the color blue, yellow, white, and certainly of the plant motif, so characteristic azulejos and other ornaments in Portugal.

These azulejos that you showed here are from Aveiro, from a poor fishing area located just over the canal. I like them just because they can see the tooth of time and the to convey the true atmosphere of the whole district.

If anyone has the appetite for more theory, I refer to Wikipedia:
